Enjoyed in-room breakfast and felt safe with 24-hour security. Stairs were tough carrying luggage.

privacy issues

The access to your balcony via back stairs feels intrusive!!! Rearranging the chaotic decor would enhance the focus on the views!!! The steep climb from the railway tracks might challenge some guests more than expected!!!

Spacious room with stunning views the breakfast was a feast with fresh fruits every morning. Lovely family atmosphere nice that the railway walk became our evening adventure under the stars. ✨

The climb back from the railway tracks can be a bit strenuous.

Cozy room, friendly host, our stay included delightful in-room breakfast served on the balcony with breathtaking views of the mountains. Convenient transportation options to explore the nearby city center since it’s only 85 km from the nearest airport.

The Standard Double Room at Wood Heart was cozy and spacious with an amazing balcony view of the mountains and waterfall. It felt basic but provided everything we needed. We loved having breakfast out there every morning, surrounded by nature. The family atmosphere was really lovely, and waking up for the sunrise on the roof was a highlight! Just a heads up, there are quite a few steps to climb back up, so it's something to think about if you're not very mobile.

Stunning Views and an Amazing Family Experience

Our stay was incredible! The family treated us like part of their crew, serving up amazing Sri Lankan breakfasts with fresh fruits on a charming balcony overlooking the mountains and a waterfall. We had a magical sunrise experience on the roof, and the walk along the train tracks into town added a unique touch to our trip. Just a heads up, there are quite a few stairs to navigate when going back up, but the views make it worth every step!
